Hotels have requirements for the flame retardant rating of carpets, especially for star rated hotels where flame retardant carpets are necessary when evaluating star ratings.

The moisture absoption properties and protein structures of the wool fiber make it a natural flame retardant, even if the flame caused by cigarette butts will automatically extinguish, and smal burn makes are easy to remove.
